When you need a little bit of storage for your workspace, a desk with drawers is a great choice. There are three kinds of desks with drawers we sell:
- A desk with fixed drawers
- A desk with an underdesk pedestal
- A desk with a desk-high pedestal
All of the kinds have different advantages and disadvatages,
If you are looking for most storage space space, you should look into desk-high pedestal kind. These offer the largest drawers and as an added benefit, they can be an extension to your desktop. The tradeoff is, these pedestals take additional floorspace, as opposed to other kinds of desk with drawers.
The underdesk pedestal is the most versatile. These units are usually mobile, allowing you easily position them in the most comfortable spot under the desk. They use less room than the desk-high pedestals, but they take some footspace from under the desk.
A desk with fixed drawers saves some footspace and doesn't use any room outside of the desk outline. It is however often the smallest storage space of all the options. Fixed drawers are on the left or right hand side. Sides can be switched, but it takes a bit of effort to do that.
